2. Messages are sent from your mobile number. You need to install chrome extension before you start using the API.

3. Only text message shall be sent. Images & File attachment are not supported.

Standard, & Professional

1. Users who have bought standand & Professional package can integrate API and send upto 20 messages.

Enterprise & Above

1. API is bundled with purchase of Whatso Enterprise Software and you can send upto 1000 messages/day (UTC Time).

API Integration Guide

1. Get your Username & Password

Sign up for free account to get your Username & Password. Upgrade to Enterprise version to get API to send message to 1000 contacts/day.

2. Download and install chrome extension

Click to see how to use chrome extension.

Once you download the chrome extension, enter the username, password and email, that you received while sign up. Also login to web.WhatsApp.com, so that the extension can use this account to send your API messages.

Note : We recommend using WhatsApp Beta.

3. Prepare Request

Note: Use version2(v2) API as V1 is deprecated.

4. Parameters

Username *
Your 32 character Username. Sign up or login to Whatso and get your API Username.
Password *
Your 32 character Password. Sign up or login to Whatso and get your Password.
MessageText *
This includes the text message you want to send and can be upto 1500 characters long. Text needs to be URL-encoded.
MobileNumbers *
Comma separated mobile numbers with country code. It can have minimum 1 or maximum 10 mobile numbers. mobile numbers. Do not include ‘+’ symbol.
ScheduleDate *
The date & time when you want your message to be delivered. Leave it blank for sending instant message. The format should be in datetime ticks E.g. 14082021143900.
FromNumber *
The exact mobile number with country code that you used to scan the WhatsApp QR code.
Important: Do not forget to download chrome extension. Follow above step 2 to scan the code.
Channel *
Use "1" for channel.

Can I send a message from my own number?
Yes, you can send message from your number.
Can I send image, pdf, or any file attachment with message?
As of current version, you cannot send image, pdf, or any file along with message. You can send text message only. However, we are going to roll out this functionality very soon. You can email us on hi@whatso.net if you need any quick support on this.
How to send multi-line text messages using API?
The message you want to send via the API needs to be encoded (encodeURIComponent). When you encode a new line, it is translated to '%0A'. This is how you will be able to accommodate different types of characters in the WhatsApp message.
